Dealer

A short film inspired and scored by the title track from Rival Dealer, Burial's 2013 EP for Hyperdub records. Unfolding over 12 minutes, "Dealer" trails a London drug dealer through a series of increasingly volatile encounters, playing off the dark soundscapes evoked in Burial's original track—from the sounds of a car swerving through caustic breakbeats to the reverb-drenched melancholy of its closing chords.
